Final Exam Planning

1. When will you shoot this assignment? When Jonah decides to have me shoot him. 
2. Where will you shoot? BMX pump track, 9th St, etc
3. What will you be documenting or telling your "story" about? One day in the life of Jonah Warner.
4. What equipment needs will you have to get this finished? My camera, 
5. Make sure to describe the process, by this I mean, where will you use the video portion, where will you use still images, where will your narration be, etc? I'll start the video with narration and pictures of him getting his day started, part of the way through Jonah riding I'll take some videos to fill in that portion at the bmx track before switching back to photos and continuing his day till the end. 

HDR Photography Intro



1. What manipulations to the camera will you need to make to create an HDR image? Change the exposure within the pictures limits
2. What equipment will we use to take this type of image? Tripod, Camera

3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image? Improve the quality of the picture and remove flaws
4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see that we might not have seen with just one photo? Gets rid of dark and light areas to make a perfect photo

School Uniforms

    -What do think about the new district policy?

    -Do the teachers have to dress in uniforms?

Sensory Overload

What do you think about this statement? I believe this statement is very true. People have turned material possessions as the key to having a happy life.
Do you agree or disagree? I agree.
As an aspiring photographer how does this make you feel about your photography? Inspires me to visit new places and try new things with my camera.

2. When you looked through the images, did you want to visit this place and take your camera? Not really, its all kind of creepy to me. 

3. What do you think it would be like to be the child of someone who worked at this place? As a child of someone that works one of these boothes I would probably not know any other life and would have grown up accustomed to it.

4. Describe your favorite photo to me. My favorite photo out of the grouping is the one with a girl sitting at her booth of colorful flowers. The flowers colors are mixed and there are many different colors surrounding her booth

e. What is your overall impression of the photographer? What did you like or not like? I did not like very many of her photographs.

c. List three problems that the judges noted with the portfolio -subjects were too bland, went for the cute kid.

e. What is your overall impression of the photographer? What did you like or not like? i liked more than half of the photos.

a. What did the judges note as strengths as they were critiquing it? how he seemed to be right in or part of the action
b. What do you see as strengths? Do you see any weaknesses? not scared to get right up into the action. no weaknesses that i could see

they needed to be good at editing there own pictures and good diversity. also having all strong pictures.

i agree with the greyhound story and how he tells a good story with only 8 photos.

2. Describe one photo that you do NOT agree with the judges on. Explain why you think the judges are wrong.
i did not agree with the baseball pictures i thought they were very good considering the old camera he used.
